Friday 9th October brings the final event in our Sailability calendar. Thanks to a set of dedicated volunteers we have held four successful days out on the water this year and would like to bring the enjoyment of sailing to as many of our sailability friends as possible for our final event. We will be missing some boats because of early haul-outs for the dredging. Could you offer a day of your time to bring a memorable experience to our disabled guests and their carers? There are our favourite categories: Sailing, capturing the thrill of being on the water; In Harbour and Ashore, showcasing life in the Cruising Fleet; and the ever-popular Sunsets, capturing stunning twilight skies.

Now that our 2026 summer season is nearing it's end we’re starting to think about next year’s program and would like to solicit your input and support. Please can you consider and respond to the following questions:
- Which rallies do you enjoy most, and why?
- Which rallies appeal least, and why?
- What other destinations would you suggest?
- Would you prefer more midweek vs weekend rallies?
- Would you organise a rally for the 2027 season (with support if needed)?
Day Skipper Course this Autumn
Hosted at Parkstone Yacht Club, with a discounted rate for Members, this essential course for cruisers is being run from Monday 5th of October across ten evenings.

Laying Up Supper Tickets
31st October
As we move into the second half of the sailing season, its time to book up for the Laying Up Supper on October 31st. Pre-dinner drinks in the bar from 7PM will be followed by a delicious menu, delivered with a Cruising Fleet discount, from 7.30PM. Two Courses will cost £24 and three Courses £29.

Cowes Rally Report & Gallery
September can often be that lovely time of the year when the heat of the summer fades and the mellowness of the early autumn gently transfers us from one season to the next. It didn’t exactly do that for this rally. There were light winds at the beginning of the day on Friday as the fleet set out from the haven or the Wych , they picked up enough and in the right direction for a great sail across the bay and into the Solent. Blithe Spirit had already arrived a few days before...
